I found this on collectSPACE…I own nothing.
Wow, he matches the space shuttle.
One could argue that the space shuttle dressed to match John Young. However, it soon became clear that no one, not even the mighty shuttle, could measure up, so it never bothered to try again. That’s why all subsequent tanks remained orange. It had nothing to do with cost or practicality and everything to do with John Young’s superior fashion sense.
